Manic is a 10-year-old sorrel mare that was previously used as a cow horse and has since been started on the barrel pattern. She’s still learning, so she’s selling as a barrel prospect, but she’s eager to work and enjoys having a job.
She walks, trots, and canters, loads easily, ties, stands well for the farrier, and gets along great with other horses. She’s not the spooky type and has been a reliable horse both on the ground and under saddle. She has no kick, buck, or bite.
She is definitely more go than whoa, so she is best suited for an intermediate to experienced rider who enjoys a horse with some motor. She has safely packed kids around at a walk, but once you ask her to go to work, she’s happiest with a confident rider.
