The name says it all! Enzo was brought off the track as a 3-year-old and has been schooled predominantly in dressage since then. He’s about as straight-forward a ride as they come – light in the bridle, three lovely gaits, and more of a kick-ride than a speed-demon. He has been popped over small fences and seems to enjoy it, though he lacks a bit of confidence. He isn’t overly spooky or lookey, but has some typical baby behaviors that suggest an advanced rider or someone working with a trainer will be his best match.
Enzo is sound barefoot but we recently added shoes because this summer has been hard on feet, and he has clean legs and no known prior injuries.
Enzo is one of the sweetest horses you’ll ever meet – while he still has some baby mouthiness, he loves a cuddle and wants to be your best friend. He stands quietly on the crossties, bathes, loads and leads well. He can go out alone or in a group and is an easy keeper weight wise.
Enzo’s owner loves him dearly and is only parting with him due to personal circumstances, but a quality, loving situation is most important. Not looking for someone to flip him! Available to be tried at Spring Willow Farm in Union Grove, WI through the month of October!
