Description:
Sammy is around 8-9 years old, a Quarter Horse Mix, Gelding, and Black with a white star. He has been started under saddle but needs someone who knows how to take him to the next level. He only plow reins right now but is an amazing horse on the ground. Very sweet and gentle with everyone I have had him around. Horse’s temperament: On the ground, a beginner could handle him with ease but riding wise he needs someone with experience. Any medical or behavioral issues? He has no medical issues and is a super easy horse to keep. Will the horse stand quietly for the vet and farrier? He stands for a Ferrier but gets a little touchy on his back legs. A Ferrier with experience will be able to handle him well. How does it do with trailering? He does amazing in a trailer and loads with ease. How does it behave with other horses in turnout? He is typically on his own in the field with the other horses but he loves to have a buddy as well. Can I assist in trailering the horse to its new home? If yes, how far? Yes, but it would add to the cost of gas if I had to, and only within the Southeast area of Idaho.
