Description:
Due to changes in our farm Ava is alone here at home, so am considering a sale to the right person or a very inexpensive lease to an excellent situation is perferable. She is very social. Ava has one upright hoof but is sound and canters and trots on it without favoring it. She was sold by the Amish because they suspected that heavy daily driving was not going to be good for her. Light riding is supposed to be fine. Ava was said to be started in harness and hopped on bareback in a halter but has no 'formal' training under saddle yet that . She is very impressionable and easy to work with, but just currently needs basic respect ground work and miles is great with a consistent leader who can keep up respect work since she is way too large to be pushy. Responds great to a clear leader. Good heart and mind, just needs consistent handling, and riding. She is great with her front hooves and , as she was not used to having her hooves handled by the Amish she is not used to holding her hinds up, but I am very confident that will improve quickly. There is so much she can do in the future and i planned to use her as a light trail horse. She would be a lovely broodmare as well. Would consider an inexepensive lease to someone who has lots of attention to give and a buddy for her. Text or email for videos, pics, etc.
