During the massive flooding last month, my wife and I lost out house. Having a mortgage and now rent is making it impossible for us to give all of our animals the care that they deserve.
Apollo was rescued last year in September from a meat slaughtering plant. He is approximately 16 months old and has came a long ways from when we got him. He was believed to have little to no human interaction before us rescuing him. He would not allow anybody to touch him when we first got him.
Apollo now allows people to braid his tail, brush and touch his body (except feet and lower legs). He is decently halter trained where he loves to be walked to the arena and let loose to run. He then walks back to you after a few. He is used to being tied up for extended periods of time and there has never been any problems walking him. He has been lunged a few times but nothing too serious.
Apollo is a horse that needs love and a family that can put the time into training him the way he needs. It breaks our heart having to find him a new home but we always want what is best for our animals.
Looking for a new home asap. Please reach out for more information.
