Please read in full. I am going to try to list every single detail I can. Do not email questions if you are not a serious inquirer.

I have a FAST horse for sale. He is a 15 year old non registered Quarter Horse gelding. I would say he is at least 16 hands. He's a big boy. Sorrel with white blaze. He normally has a high 2D time at normal sized shows and racks up at the small local saddle club shows. On poles he runs a 21 or a 22. He has done a 23 a couple times, but only when I was holding him back to a lope going into the pattern. On barrels, since he is big, he's the type to go past it and do a roll back versus bending around the barrel like a shorter horse. Needs an experienced rider because he has A LOT of get up and go in him. He is super fast, I cannot stress that enough. We had a bad run where he blew past 1st and 2nd, and he still was only 1 second off the winning time. He gets along with any and every horse. He is super friendly and laid back. Gives you everything he's got. He will bond with you and you will fall in love with him. Not spookish or jumpy. Been there done that kind of horse. Been in rodeos. Got 5th in small PCA rodeo (25 contestants) last season in Georgia. He is just an overall great horse.


Now the not so good:
He has arthritis in his hocks. I can provide pictures of the X-rays. Right now I just have him on glucosamine and an MSM. He can't be ridden because he's still in pain and he needs to get injections of HA (NOT cortisol) and depo. Or he needs to be put on Adequan. Either one will help and get him back and running.
So he is out of shape but it doesn't take long to get him back in shape.
He has to see a chiropractor seasonally, and is due for his next one. So with a recent adjustment and injections he will be good as new.
He is a bleeder, but only after a run, not a normal day workout. And he really only bleeds if you run him all out and then let him put his head down to graze on grass, if you keep his head up he doesn't really bleed.



Overall he is a great boy. He does need some upkeep, but it's well worth it because he is an excellent barrel horse. I am selling because I simply cannot afford his upkeep and I hate to see him not get the correct care he needs.
