Description

Chief War Paint's Voodoo is an unregistered super fancy Morgan boy.
Chief/ Funquest mare ("Chiefs hot fudge") & War Paint sire's ( "Chief War paint's voodoo mentor") bloodlines can be seen on Allbreed pedigree.

2002 Fabulous gelding, out walks big horses, keeps up with gaited horses, but can completely slow down when asked.

14.2 hands
Min Splash Overo gene, 1 1/2 blue eyes, chestnut/silver flaxen, no white belly spots.
Has done just about everything from long distance trail, LS hunters/jumpers, 4-H Eng/Western, open/fun shows, wears costumes, swing a rope off of him, started on breakaway & cow work. Started Working Equitation workshops last summer. Has done various workshops and Buck Brannaman clinics.
Best with a small rider who knows natural horsemanship, and is Morgan or Arabian person. Rider best @ 165 lbs or less, including tack.
He knows his ground manners and deserves a consistent hand since he's inquisitive and and forward. No buck, no rear.
Must have front shoes, or really savvy/diligent hoof boot user...
He is the in your pocket type, but with that, he wants to be the leader if you are not. He does great with someone who knows groundwork and foundation horsemanship basics to support him being his best. Crosses water, opens gates, walks bridges, doesn't love tarps or flags, but works out if asked properly.
Voody has a heart of gold. Leaves his food to meet you at gate, always willing.
We have adored him for 7 years. He deserves the best and this is a tough family decision.
Currently ridden around the ranch three days a week. Our daughter has left for college, & our boarding facility just sold.
He's not a 'first' horse, but he is a wonderful connected partner and has a lot to offer his humans. Experienced tween or a seasoned rider looking for a bright horse would be a good a match.
mrssuperschmidty on you tube has some video when our daughter was jumping him.
He would be a great all around mount. Loves to, but shouldn't jump as a main job, he's just not built for it.

Serious inquiries only.
Located in Southern California.
We won't ship him more than 14 hours away.
Text or calls are best, I'm not on this website much!
